In 2013, a contractor named David Gonzalez was renovating a house in Hoffman, Minnesota when he discovered a rare 1938 copy of Action Comics #1 hidden inside the walls with old newspapers used as insulation.
The comic featured the FIRST appearance of Superman and later sold for around $175,000 at auction. Some copies of the same comic have since sold for MILLIONS.
