The original plan was to hike up Dog Mountain. When we saw how many people there were on the trail, we made a quick executive decision to do Pump Peak instead, a more difficult hike at 3x the elevation gain. But look at this payout…it was more than worth it.

For adventure sessions like this that are vastly different from what you can get in the city, send us a message!

We’d love to take you out on a hike to remember forever. 🫶🏻

Send this to your sister 🤎

A moment I felt to my core. I shared this quote from this speech with my sister, and naturally, we both teared up 🥹 There is something so sacred about being a sister.

When it’s cold outside but it’s full of warmth inside.

The kind that comes from a room brimming with love, joy, laughter, and maybe a touch of hot goss.

It’s the season of Family 🤎

While we no longer really have a “slow season” (and count our blessings for that,) I truly cherish this time of year when we focus more on smaller and more intimate portraits.

Photos of you with the people you love most, taken in a moment of time that cannot be held onto.

It doesn’t have to be a special occasion, it doesn’t have to be for an engagement or for growing families, it can simply be to record a time in life. That’s enough.

I sometimes think about photos and video as evidence that we have been here. The truth is, memories, if forgotten, can feel like they’ve never existed.

And I think that’s precisely why they’re so precious, and why humans will continue to record events in words or imagery for as long as we continue to be.

I don’t think you will ever regret it, even if you don’t love where you were at in life, how you looked, or how life was like. Because these photos will only grow in significance and value and time moves forward and you look back. 🤎

PJ proposed at the top of Grouse Mountain, a surprise at the top of an otherwise usual afterwork hike for them.

After the proposal, they changed the clothes he packed for them.
