I just don't just play my drum parts and you won't hear many drummers play like me. (("Unique Sounds of Rhythms and Creativity")) I drummed my ass off on the new Dead On Arrival and Ode To Orpheus, The
albums, both were Released on Sept. 17th, 2013 on the MRI Label. People call my work drummer albums. I really just play what I think the song needs, to put energy and drive in the music, and I just love what I do with U.S.R.C. (Unique Sounds and Rhythms of Creativity) "THE PHYSICAL MEANING OF COLOR IS HOW I PERFORM MY DRUMMING, IT'S LIKE Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci CREATES A PAINTING AND IT'S ALL IN HOW THE PRISMS OF LIGHT SHINE INTO THE DARKNESS OF MY SOUL IN THROUGH MY EYES AND OUT OF MY LIMBS WHEN I PERFORM. My Influences are in (Jazz) Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Louis Bellson. In (Rock) Keith Moon, Carl Palmer, Don Brewer, Ron Bushy, John Bonham, Ian Paice, Ginger Baker, Buddy Miles, Jerry Edmonton, and most the greats from that era. And I have created my very own unique style of drumming from these great drum teachers that I've learned from, and I feel I sound like no one but myself, true to my own sound and style. Thank you ALL so very much for your kind support. Sincerely, Rick Ferrusi
