AIR Lab @ ITU explores the affective and emotional aspects of living with digital and interactive technologies in research and design.

04/06/2025

Junior researcher at AIR Lab, sound artist Tao Højgaard investigates sound as an epistemic tool, bridging artistic practice and scientific research. Grounded in methodological precision and data-driven composition, his works explore how affective sonic experiences generate new forms of understanding across disciplinary boundaries.

The central piece, Time Prism, translates 100 years of social transformation in Denmark into immersive soundscapes, offering an embodied experience of historical dynamics.

Additional works include Væren, a self-interacting sonic portrait exploring subjectivity and perception; The Central Dogma, a musical translation of molecular biology processes; and The Inger Christensen Literature Concert, which examines literature as a collective sociological phenomenon.

The event concludes with a live performance of The Inger Christensen Literature Concert.
