🔹What you’ll be doing:
◾Provide physical and emotional support and care to the
residents in the home throughout the night.
◾ Assisting in providing a stable, caring environment, which underpins the residents psychological and emotional wellbeing.
◾ Developing a good working relationship with night team.
◾ Being involved with staff training and development.
🔹 Your responsibilities and duties:
◾ To adhere to content, and the development of an individual’s
care plan, in relation to sleep, hygiene, bathing, continence,
management, mobility, feeding, dressing and general care.
◾ To have knowledge of and follow all company procedures.
◾ To promote a friendly, homely atmosphere.
◾ To inform Manager, or Nurse in Charge, of any problems,
regarding staff, residents, or support services.
◾ To assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
◾ To maintain general tidiness in the home.
◾ To ensure general security policies are adhered to.
◾ To adopt a positive and pleasant attitude, an approachable
manner, and ensure resident and visitors needs are attended
◾ To uphold the key principles of resident’s rights,
independence, choice, privacy and dignity.
◾ To maintain confidentiality and discretion when communicating
personal matters to other staff members.
◾ To respect resident’s beliefs and values.
◾ To supervise and assist in the serving of supper and to help to

St Margaret’s Latchford’s Community Hub in Lindley Avenue, Latchford will be closing its doors for the final time on 4th April 2022 and the Charity St Margaret's Community Partnership responsible for managing the centre will be closing.

"This has been a very hard decision for us to make," says Co-ordinator Michelle Hayes, but financial and operational difficulties, compounded by the issues surrounding Covid over the last two years, mean that we are unable to continue.

We want to thank everyone who has ever been a part of St Margarets for your help and dedication as we couldn't have done the last 20+ Years without you, especially those amazing volunteers!!!!

Food parcels available to collect tomorrow (Tuesday) between 11am and 1pm from St Margaret’s Community centre. ** limited amount of bags available - 1 bag per household and “first come , first served”

How is it nearly 2022 when 2019 feels like yesterday ? Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for your support and help through these last two really tough years. So many more people needed help and the directors staff and volunteers came through just like they always do!! I want to thank our user groups and customers for your unwavering commitment to the charity and again, your support during a really difficult 20/21. we hope we have continued to be a support network for our community and we have given our all to protect those in need. We want to wish everyone a peaceful christmas and best wishes for the new year. Our staff are now on annual leave and our amazing volunteers are taking a well earned break. We dont know what next year will hold but we hope it will be a better one for all.

"The Bread and Butter Thing" launched at Latchford A SCHEME to divert food donated by supermarkets away from landfill and to people in need has been launched at St Margaret’s Community Hub, Latchford.

Hi all its that time of year again where we ask if any of the children would be happy to create something for our older residents....we are looking for Christmas cards or table decorations this year so if we have any crafty people all donations of these items would be fab. Drop off at the centre between 9 and 3 every weekday until the 30 November thanks so much

Edit .....also we have advent calendars for all the children who take part x thanks to a donation from Lidl
