Aurora Classical is happy to announce that it is the recipient of funding from Philadelphia Cultural Fund for 2026! The city is trying to cut back the amount that the arts require, and the Philadelphia cultural fund is lobbying to have that amount increased! The arts promote rope of businesses in the community is where they are in addition to all of the wonderful things that they do. This is a major decrease from $5 million in FY26, when championed PCF during budget season.

This year, PCF and CM Landau know that the City of Philadelphia must make a stronger investment in our art and culture community–this administration needs to increase City budget allocation to $6 million.

What will $6 million do? It will ensure PCF can continue to provide critical support through general operating grants to the art and culture organizations that are the heartbeat of our neighborhoods, driving connection, economic vitality, and community well-being.
