Inconvenient because it is not a mass production and not one cross is perfect: paint, assemble, design are all part of a learning process just as life is a continuous unfolding of grace;
Inconvenient because it is not a flat, two-dimensional piece: it is made up of six cubes, each face is as important as the front-facing face. We are all equally important in God’s grand design, and there is more than one way of experiencing God’s grace;
Inconvenient because it is flamboyantly colored to reclaim God’s love for the LGBT community: silence in the face of injustice only sides with the oppressor, God’s love and our support can no longer be kept in the closet;
