Three years ago, we finished second and third. This year, we’re aiming for victory. We’ve come so far, and now it’s time to push 110%. This is not just a competition, it’s a battle. We are in Stockholm and ready for the Stockholm Half Marathon tomorrow. Oscar will be running in the race, and it's his very first time participating in the Stockholm Half Marathon. Unfortunately, Lovisa will not be able to defend her victory from last year due to an injury.

About us
We are a private athletics club registered under the Ugandan Athletics Federation. Here at The Ugandan Athletes Fund Academy we are committed to a single goal, helping great talent become world class. We are a non-profit athletics club registered in Uganda devoted to support talented Ugandan/East African young athletes living in Uganda and provide them with the opportunity to focus on success instead of focusing on unnecessary financial hurdles. Donations go directly to Ugandan athletes to support their training, coaching, nutrition, team fees, travel and basic living expenses Our long term aim is to provide necessary support for selected athletes to harness their talents and realise their full potential and use athletics to give themselves a brighter future. The potential Long Term Impact of the Ugandan athletes fund Academy is plain and simple, more equipment and support will mean more athletes will have the chance to do sports and to get the opportunity to realize their dreams. In addition to the obvious health benefits that a more active lifestyle will bring, the youths doing sports will build self-esteem and learn valuable life skills, such as teamwork, sportsmanship and dealing with adversity. These are life skills that they will have for the rest of their lives.
