❤️It’s been 1.5 weeks since the album release show, and I’m finally starting to come down from that beautiful evening. I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate all the lovely responses to the album…it truly means a lot to me.

As we step into the cozy December season, I hope my album becomes part of your moments with friends and family. There are definitely some tunes perfect for those warm, intimate gatherings. So, keep spinning the tracks and enjoying the vibes! 😊

❤️🥂A beautiful evening where everything came together! Performing in a sold-out LantarenVenster in my hometown was truly AMAZING.

The songs we’ve been working on for months came to life, vibrating and shared with you all for the very first time. The energy in the house was so loving, and we had so much fun! The smiles, the nods, the dancing, the way you responded to the songs… we felt it all.

With a smiling heart, I am proud to announce that my album ‘Weather the Storm’ is out now. This album was born out of a deeply challenging period in my life.

I had to overcome so much on many levels, but from this hardship came a lot of beautiful life lessons, healing, growth, and a renewed sense of self. I want to acknowledge the incredible people I had the privilege of working with to make this possible.

Creating and releasing an album is a true team effort, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who shared their talents, skills, and vision in bringing this project to life.

💛🤎This beautiful piece of art was gifted to me by Brian Elstak. Back in September 2018, I released my last album and was a guest curator at TENT Rotterdam, where I created an exhibition titled ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ featuring works by nine artists. Brian was part of the exhibition. If you look closely, you’ll see the face of my biggest inspiration, Nina Simone.

This piece hangs in my living room, and I see it every day. But today, it feels different. Just three days before the release of my next album, I’m reminded of how blessed I am to have the ability to create art in the form of music and to share my story. Where would we be without Art and creativity?

I see that you’ve been listening to my track ‘Another Day, Another Moon’. It truly warms my heart...for real, for real, for real! To everyone who’s listened: Much love to you. I give thanks!

There’s so much happening behind the scenes, but it’s all a beautiful process. What makes it even more special is seeing the amazing responses since I first announced the album.

And what a blessing it is to come back in good health, feeling inspired, and ready to share these new songs we’ve poured our hearts into.

On November 28th, we’ll perform these songs live for the first time in my hometown, Rotterdam. We’re going to turn LantarenVenster upside down!

I see you! Tickets for my album presentation are flowing and going✨ I’m excited to thank you in advance for joining me on the 28th of November.

Behind the scenes, things are going well. We’re finishing up the album, mixing, editing, and mastering. This is the phase of final choices, and it feels good because it means we’re nearing the end of the creation phase. Now, it’s time for the SHARING phase. I can’t wait to share these new songs with all of you!

Another exciting creative process that’s already underway is preparing the live show. Thinking about how to bring these songs to life for you all :-)))

I’m so grateful to be able to do all of this. Very soon, I’ll be able to say: I’ve released my 7th album. And yeah, that makes me proud already.
