The difference between a sh*tty cheap wick and crackling booster wick.

Left Wick
* Single-ply wooden wick
* One solid piece of wood
* Usually burns:
* quieter
* with a smaller flame
* slower and cleaner
* Can sometimes struggle to stay lit

Right Wick
* Booster / dual-layer wooden wick
* You can see the lighter strip in the middle — that’s the “booster” strip.
* It’s designed to:
* pull more wax/fuel upward
* create a hotter flame
* improve crackling
* reduce extinguishing issues
* Better for:
* larger candles
* heavy fragrance oils
* Usually gives:
* a stronger flame
* better melt pool
* more reliable burn

I wanted to reach out and let you know that a small batch of my candles may have a faulty wick that could affect how they burn.

If your candle isn’t burning correctly, or seems to keep going out…it’s not you, it’s the wick. And I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. I’ve been doing continuous testing at home and have narrowed down the problem. I’ve got ahold of the whole sale company I order all my supplies through to let them know of the dud wicks they sold me.

I’ve now started ordering a newer more expensive wooden wick called “crackling booster”. All wick problems should be fixed now.

At this company I stand behind what I make, and own my mistakes. I’d be more than happy to replace your candle. Just send me a direct message and I’ll take care of you.

🧐 CANDLE FUN FACT OF THE DAY 🕯️

Soy wax candles are wonderfully natural, but they don’t always pour perfectly…and that’s completely normal. Because soy wax is more sensitive to temperature and cooling conditions, it can sometimes develop small imperfections like uneven tops or slight frosting as it sets.

To achieve that smooth, finished look, I use a heat gun to gently remelt the surface, allowing the wax to level out evenly. This extra step doesn’t affect the candle’s quality or performance…it simply ensures each candle looks as beautiful as it smells.
