“Don’t Say Sorry” toma lugar en una cabaña sumergida en la espesura del bosque. El protagonista y voz de la canción vuelve a su hogar, borracho a altas horas de la noche donde se encuentra a su amada desvelada por un horrible dolor del que desconoce razón u origen. Se siente avergonzada por su estado inexplicable y recurrente y pide perdón. El protagonista, incapaz de ayudarla, le responde - “No pidas perdón, si tu dolor te abruma. Aquí siempre será bienvenido. Y si te hiciera mejor podría irme y no volver jamás” -. Pero secretamente la voz de la canción se siente culpable. Sentimiento que le hará volver a perderse en el bosque, dónde se volverá a encontrar con ella en un lugar inesperado…

Compuse esta canción hace ya 4 años como ejercicio para la clase de “Proyecto personal” impartida por un gran músico y profesor en la donde mis compañeros de clase me ayudaron a darle vida en formato banda: .music .dv posteriormente también añadieron guitarra y theremin respectivamente Podéis encontrar el videoclip animado que lo acompaña entero en Youtube!

I made this song 9 years ago, and it’s called “Forced to let her go”.

I always imagined a medieval-esque music video to accompany it in which a troubadour is heartbroken after losing a woman he loved but for whom he always kept his feelings hidden. A tall romanic tower becomes a modern day hospital and the troubadour is singing from the outside but the song doesn’t reach her, he will have to clime the tower to get to her floor, but when he finally arrives she is already dead in her hospital bed…

The song is actually about my mother who hasn’t died yet from what I know. But I’ve lost all hope of reconnecting with her, given that even in her presence she is absent… Back in the day I made more songs about my childhood. It seems natural for a younger artist to make music about where they come from and more when the foundation isn’t clear or easy to digest, but that is something I’m now slowly leaving behind, and happily so!

I made this song 3 years ago, it’s called “Revenge”. In it I reflect on rancor and its inevitability, as if driven by destiny, or an imagined "gang of gods" up against each other in the sky, that jealous of mortals and their insignificant quarrels intervine in our lives creating this cruel situations in which there is no option but to act upon our "lower instincts". Making a play of earthly delights and pain out of us.
