But my role is to lead you to a better place and to make sure that not matter what happens externally, I’ve got your back. We are in charge now and we are the authors of our destiny….

The day you realize you are the adult responsible for the well being, healing and growth of your inner child, is the one you realize that there will be days when you have to take charge. This may mean, talking sense to that inner child who sometimes reverts to old familiar patterns because it’s what is familiar. Other times you gotta hush the negativity and remind yourself that life isn’t always easy but that you will be okay. If you want something different, you gotta do things differently and that means taking control of the situation even when it means doing what you don’t wanna do, but doing it because it what is needed to ensure your well being.
