This franchise, has felt like they were ok with being mediocre. That hay at least we competed for stretches in seasons but when it’s hard we just turn it in. After all this city is just happy we’re here and the Buckeyes football satisfy the community with winning consistently. No, we are here because we want a team with a winning mentality. They are sitting on a powder keg of a fanbase that if they won would be one of the most rabid fan bases in the league. I guarantee that. But if they aren’t willing to try, to do what it takes to win that’s a sure way of disrespecting the fans and the city that show out every season as it is. It feels like a leadership void on that team, it’s time to let those guys go. New captain new leaders in the locker room that absolutely despise losing. Every year they say the same things but never show it on the ice. It’s tiring. I so hope Rick Bowness comes back and that the front office all the way to ownership realizes winning is all that matters and is expected. I’m tired of them winning one playoff series as the best this franchise have ever done. It’s been 25 years. Let’s raise the standard of this organization and finally have a big boy franchise. My rant is over GO BLUE JACKETS!
