Dairy farm facts:
🐄 Cows only have bottom teeth so they like to suck in iur hand 😳
🐄When you arrive in time for a baby to be born, you get to name it! We named this one Shelley afternour Executive 🐄 Director because eshe wa so cute!!
🐄 The cow with the heart’s name is Valentina ❤️
🐄 The cows every move including swallowing, is tracked through their collars to ensure everyone’s healthy happy i’m living the best life on the farm.
🐄 The cows love to be melt and lineup all on their own ready to go at the milk machine.
🐄 Mango milk tastes awesome!

Guess what time it is!!!

we took these beauties back and made strawberry loaf strawberry jam.
We had to freeze many of them because we had such a bounty!

⚓️ HMCS HAIDA-Hamilton’s Historic Warship 🇨🇦
Some very cool history learned today about the surviving WWII Tribal Class Destroyer aka “Canada’s Fightingest Ship” She lives right here at Pier 9 in Hamilton! How fortunate are we to have a piece of history just down the road.
And I quote “This is SO cool!” Dave.

Nothing better than cheering on your friends at work! 🚘
Today we visited one of our members at his job at a local car dealership, and everyone had an amazing time exploring the cars and supporting a friend doing what he does best.
Employment , including volunteering, is about more than just work, it’s about confidence, connection, community, and belonging. We love seeing our members thrive and support one another along the way.

👮♂️We have the most wonderful community and that includes our community police officers! A special thanks to Ryan for coming out to our new location and brightening our day with some amazing examples of what are police force does for a community, and for his amazing sense of humor to boot🤣

So many have asked how to help. This is how. Rebuilding takes finances. Not everything is covered by insurance. Everything donated will go into getting us set up to continue to help families in a new spot, different format- whatever it takes and/or direct support to the clients we serve.
Believe me, we’d rather be serving than smouldering!
