We've had another little star start the year as he means to go on!!

Well done to Oscar from our Tots group who has been working really hard πŸ˜ƒ

Oscar has kindly been loaned an Innowalker to trial over the holidays and thinks it’s an amazing piece of kit!!

Oscar uses a wheel chair and has just started to use his walker for a few minutes during his football sessions

His Red January has got off to a flying start and he is smashing his walking and getting active!
His scores the other day:
2036 steps
2000m in 44mins!!
His previous record was 1500m!!

Amazing work buddy!!! Keep going! πŸ˜ƒβš½

If you're looking to start the year in a positive way and make the most of this mild weather have a look at the RED January campaign in partnership with Sport in Mind.

Get active each day this month... The beauty of this is you can do whatever you're comfortable with and build it into your daily routine, ie: Walk to the shops instead of drive. You can also get active indoors if the weather turns but getting outside, especially in nature is a great thing.

This is an initiative for all our players and families to get involved with and start the year in a healthy way to support your bodies and minds.

(Please feel free to send in any photos or videos of your activities as players and families.)

See the link below to sign up officially or just to get some ideas and inspiration.

02/12/2021

***Covid update***
(Haven't had to write that for a while πŸ™„)

Due to recent changes and guidance we are having to bring in some measures again to keep everyone as safe as possible.

1. All spectators Please remain 2m apart both outdoors and indoors
2. Please wear a mask at out indoor venues and also if you go inside to use the toilet at Partington or Sandbach
3. We will limit the number of people in the community room at Partington again to 6, so please just check before you come in.
4. For the last 1 or 2 sessions across our centres we will be taking the temperature of all players, coaches and volunteers.
5. Lastly we have taken the hard decision to cancel this year's santa run which was due to take place at Partington on 11th Dec at 12pm.
Training that day will be as normal for all groups but you can still come in Christmas themed fancy dress and we will still play lots of games. Sorry for any disappointment but it just isn't worth the risk getting so many people together with all the uncertainty of the new variant at present.

Thanks for your patience and understanding

Futures Programme Launches for 21/22 - Cerebral Palsy United Last month we were thrilled to launch our Cerebral Palsy United Futures Programme for the 2021/22 season! We’re excited to be supporting another group of young people both with and without disability who are eager to pursue their personal development! Here's a little about how we do it..

30/11/2021

We had a great night last night at our Liverpool centre and welcomed 11 more Student physios to our support staff team.

In order to help us keep up with the growth we are seeing we've recently engaged with universities from around our region to provide opportunities for student physios to come along and gain some hands on experience working with our young players and supporting them with their physical development and fundamental movement skills.

We'll share more about this exciting new project that sits in our charities 'community program' in the new year.

Well done and THANK YOU to all the students we have involved so far, you have been amazing and we are very lucky to have you all on board. πŸ˜ƒβš½
