A few weeks back, Erich Meier asked if I could join him tonight to play on his birthday. I told him I was already booked, but wished I could be there.

Well… good news, bad news.
Bad news: my gig tonight got canceled.
Good news: the universe clearly decided I should be playing music with my best friend on his birthday.

So without any further ado—happy birthday to the dude I’ve been doing music and rocking parties with for 25 years. Tonight is also my first time back on stage in about four or five years, at Jackalope, with the guy who kicked the door open for me to play there in the first place.

I’m excited to be back—but even more excited to celebrate my friend and play some music for everyone.
