The Impi Warriors just finished competing at the FIRST Championship in Houston, TX! Our flights have been rebooked and all our students are safe and excited to spend another day in Houston.

The Impi Warriors had a busy weekend at the FIRST in Michigan State Championship! After qualification matches, we were chosen as the #1 pick by the 8th alliance. Shout out to our alliance captain Perry High School Robotics Team 6548 and our alliance partner Team 6002 Zoobotix!!! We were eliminated in the playoffs, but we received enough district points to qualify for the World Championship in Houston, TX! The team is so excited!!! The #2 alliance are the champions of the FIM Muskegon District Event! The Impi Warriors, FRC Team 3538 RoboJackets, and Team 7256 Irish Robotics competed well together and won all of their playoff and finals matches. We are so grateful for our awesome alliance partners!!! The Impi Warriors were awarded the Excellence in Engineering Award which celebrates the team that demonstrates a professional approach to the design process. The Impi Warriors are having a great time so far at the FIM Muskegon District Event. After a rough start to the morning, the team has ended up in 1st place at the end of qualification matches for the day!!! We even had the highest scoring match of the day at 88 points. We have 4 more qualification matches in the morning tomorrow and then playoffs. The team is finishing out the night with a scouting meeting where we are debriefing the day and creating a pick list for alliance selection tomorrow. The Impi Warriors had an exciting and successful weekend at the FIM Woodhaven District Event! We ended qualification matches in 5th place and were the captain of the 4th alliance. Huge shoutout to our alliance partners Team 7174 Charger Robotics and Team 8426 Automated Amphibians. Our alliance was knocked out in the final match of the semifinals but competed fiercely! The team was awarded the Quality Award which celebrates machine robustness in concept and fabrication. Looking forward to our competition in Muskegon next weekend.

We are having a great time at the FIM Woodhaven District Event this weekend! Here is a look at our brand new Super Pit which our students and mentors have worked on tirelessly since the summer. We finished today in 8th place and are very excited to see how tomorrow goes. Our robot and drive team performed very well and gave a great showing of our capabilities!
