PERFORMANCE ALERT!
On Sunday, December 8th at 5PM, I'll be singing with the combined choir as part of the annual ecumenical Lessons and Carols service at the First United Methodist Church in Horseheads. This will be my second year doing this performance. The music is always very moving, and the finale is very powerful and sets the perfect tone for the season.
They don't give you much room in the Bio section do they?
If you're wondering what "Riot Grrl era and adjacent" means:
Riot Grrl era - '90's female fronted rock / punk / grunge, Babes In Toyland, Hole, L7, etc.
Adjacent - those who inspired, were inspired by, or would otherwise fit comfortably on the same bill, The Runaways, Patti Smith, Tracy Bonham, Concrete Blonde, Dead Sara, Brody Dale, etc.
Well, things don't always go as planned, which is where the name Plan Next came from. Time to think outside of the box, because the box clearly isn't big enough.
Jazz Odyssey? Probably not, but it will be interesting.
Promises, promises, but I do have a new project coming. It was supposed to happen this Friday (1/26), but I got COVID.
