As part of getting my hair back to this health, major changes needed to happen.
As you saw on my stories, I got my hair cut short to get rid of all the dry, highlighted hair. I had boxed braids during the summer when I visited Puerto Rico, and that, took a major toll on my hair. When I removed the braids, I had lost so much hair due to breakage and shedding that I was in tears in the shower.
I’m on this journey of self love, putting myself first. And that includes my curls. These photos are a motivation to get back to healthy🖤.

As much as I love highlighting my hair, it is not practical for me with a crazy schedule. Not having time to condition and tend to my hair has definitely taken a toll.
