A piece celebrating whom I watched it with, and the trip it inspired them to take 💌

I've been wanting to use Procreate for more of my own stuff- not just client work. I hope this is a step towards creating for myself as I create for the world as it crashes, burns, and perseveres.

Most of my life has been an exercise in finding a way to Art about things. Watch a movie? Draw about it. Read a book? Paint about it. Collect a bill? Add it to my sketchbook/ turn it into a zine/ cut it up into scraps to make paper.

War? Genocide? Crises? Zines, paintings, Collages.

I cannot be convinced that it does nothing. It keeps us here. Alive & kicking; fighting, breathing, loving.
