Waiting for Wilco

Lost my dad, pop as I called him, over the weekend. I keep telling people I feel like I’ve been preparing most of my adult life for this moment, but I still wasn’t ready for it. Going to miss his smile and the fact he told me he loved me every time I saw him. There was no doubt in my mind that he loved me, and I’m not sure there’s any more important thing that can be said. I love you pop and will carry your legacy for loving others forward. You’re off riding those cosmic waves or whatever it is we do next, and you won’t soon be forgotten.

After fostering 4 puppies for the last couple of months, we decided to keep one. This is Hunny.

Jilly has become foster mom to our foster pup, Honey. Always wants to know where she’s at and quite protective.
