Grateful for magical wahine spaces that strengthen connections, creativity, sisterhood & support. A multi generational graffiti jam, the biggest ever in Aotearoa/ New Zealand.

Thank you so much for the invite. A real blessing to contribute to this historic wall🙏🏻 Thank you sisters for the love, support & welcome. The moon was with us throughout (✨reincarnated witches✨), this experience was just the best. All love to each femme involved. All Queens💛

Ngor, Senegal 💕

The last mural painted in Africa.. Sometimes my days are so rushed & busy that I need to remind myself to take a step back & take in where I currently am. The roads are always going to be bumpy, challenging, unapologetic and at times disappointing. That's life keeping you humble lol. But you keep at it with your integrity intact, getting my hands dirty, feeling the sweat on the side of my face... It's non stop. So these moments... Painting next to the ocean, on the other side of the world, I have to stop, take it all in and remind myself that although there is still a lot of work ahead, I'm actively living my dream✨

And for moments such as this, I am grateful for all the negativity, for all the gatekeepers, the naysayers, etc. I usually let them say what they have to say because it seems so important for their ego to feel some type of superiority while trying to bring ppl down. But I don't need such vindication and that's why we are different. I think it's easier to talk & to stay trapped in that kind of mentality because there is no change involved. You just... Stay there. It's harder, in my opinion, to rise above and actively work towards something. You don't have the comfort of doing nothing.

We humans are imperfect, complex creatures.. there is always work to do. Nothing is ever really "finished". We can always do better.. but while we work on our lives and crafts and whatever we have dipped our feet in... Remember, it's okay to take a step back and reflect on your journey. It's okay to give yourself a pat on the back every now and then. You are present and alive & it's to be celebrated.

And on the shores of Ngor, I too gave myself these moments of reflection and gratitude. We move so fast sometimes we forget the privilege we hold. Whether you celebrate the roof over your head, the food in front of you, your circle of family and friends, give thanks for the little things. They may not be so little to someone else.

Grateful, thankful and blessed for the lessons, always 💛 Thanks for reading friends🙏🏻Keep moving forward ▶️

3rd of 4 murals painted in Senegal. This was a one day banger, no plan or anything, no prior sketch. Just a lil fun piece for the kids. The building housed several people and was close by the school where I painted the 1st mural
🎨🫶🏻🇸🇳🌍

This was a fun day, thank you for all the love and support Yeumbeul!!

2nd of 4 murals painted in Senegal. This one in YEUMBEUL at Stade Pathé waré Diop de Yeumbeul sud. This is the 5th soccer field I've contributed a mural to in the world (others include Egypt, Mexico, Greece and El Salvador).

Yeumbeul is a sand-filled city close to the beach and fish is a huge part of their economy and diet 🐟🐟🐟 This was a fun one tbh

Thank you to MOSS, Brinks, Fatima, Mudu, Baba, Khalil, Mia, Mili, Mal, Linda and literally all the amazing artists and Senegalese people that made this trip incredible🙏🏻💥

LOVE YOU ALL 🇸🇳

💥AFRICA💥
YEUMBEUL, SENEGAL

Bearer of Infinite Life, womb of the universe.. Africa is the motherland of existence. Woman is the lifeforce portal. She births humanity, she is the gatekeeper of life. One with the universe, she is the butterfly, the lion,.. existence itself. She is mighty, she is fire, she is life, she is death. She carries the flame of life, our DNA. The eternal life giver. I specifically did this piece for Yeumbeul. A celebration of life, death and transition. The mighty woman is our origin keeper 🌍

Painted at Ecole Moussé Anta Diop in Yeumbeul, this was my 2nd trip to Africa, and it never disappoints. My heart is full. I am grateful for this opportunity and am grateful for my new friends across the world. Art is the universal language of love, truth, connection and colors no matter the color of your skin, culture or where you are in any corner of the world.

Forever grateful to MOSS, Brinks, all my beautiful artist friends and to all the Senegalese ppl for receiving us with love, support, and care. This trip was just incredible 💕💥

1 of 4 murals painted... I'll be posting the rest, one day at a time. THANK YOU YEUMBEUL 🔥🙏🏻🇸🇳🌍💕
