I am a United States Sailor.
Ever since teaching at Christ the King, I’ve fallen in love with singing the Psalms for school liturgies. Before I started packing up my classroom today, I sat at my classroom piano for the last time and sang my original setting of Psalm 27. It’s one I’ll carry with me from my days and into the new days ahead.

Come on out to Kimbro’s this Friday for a great night with the Jason Minton Band. This will be my final show with the Jason Minton Band before I join the US Navy Band. I am so proud of the music we have made together and so grateful to for the opportunity to play here and grow our audience for the past several years.

Over the past 5 years, I’ve written and recorded a lot of church music, and I’ve enjoyed playing and singing many of these songs with UMC since 2014.

For all of you Spotify listeners, this sacred music collection, including 30+ songs and several never released songs, comes out on 12/31. It’s been a beautiful journey thus far and I feel like it’s just getting started. So grateful for the opportunity to make music every day and to share it with the world.

Caleb Dinger
Caleb is passionate about creating music that centers around faith, hope, and family.
Nashville based songwriter and pianist Caleb Dinger is inspired by greats like Bruce Hornsby, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Taylor, and Johnny Cash. He effortlessly blends styles of country, jazz, folk, gospel, and classical music with his unique piano driven sound.
In 2013, Caleb moved to Nashville, TN to study commercial piano at Trevecca Nazarene University. Shortly afterward, he was hired as a worship leader at Crievewood United Methodist Church, also in Nashville. In addition to being a church music director, Caleb is a guest pianist / keyboardist with several bands in the Nashville area, a music teacher, and a staff accompanist at Trevecca University. He loves to share how the many creative groups he is a part of helps him grow in creating his own art.
Some of Caleb’s compositions have received international publication. Singing the Faith + in the UK says about his song, "River": "This is a striking hymn, combining a creative use of biblical imagery with a gospel-country style of music... [It is] simple, clear, and easily singable by a congregation."
