Just a little PSA about kindness, if you don’t like a nail design I did or how I did it…keep that to yourself or message me privately about it. Especially if it isn’t YOUR nails I did it on.

As a small business, who is the sole employee, it’s very hurtful and discouraging to open comments that say “These look awful”. Regardless of your intentions.

Imagine how the person wearing that design would feel if they saw your comment? It costs $0 to be nice and not comment if you have nothing nice to say. It’s that easy!

I LOVE my job and want to please as many people as possible, but it’s insane to expect me to produce nails that everyone will like. Everyone has different tastes, but it absolutely is not okay to comment rude things on someone else’s nails and expect nothing of it.

Do you get dip nails when you go to a salon? Here’s why you shouldn’t!

Dip nails can be very harmful to your nails, whether it’s thinning your nail bed or being very painful to remove. Dip powder is an acrylic system that is applied without a monomer liquid, and while it does add strength that A LOT of people look for it can be very damaging when applied incorrectly.

Many salons don’t apply the dip powder in a sanitary manner, which is exactly how infections spread rapidly!

Salons are also not trained correctly, most of them not all, and are using illegal practices to hurry up their job and get you out faster. This is why your nails feel very thin and fragile once you remove enhancements that came from a salon!

A good alternative to dip is builder gel! Once a clear builder gel is applied, it doesn’t need to be removed unless you’re taking a break from getting your nails done. Builder gel also doesn’t require your nail bed to be shredded in order for it to stay!
