It has been a long journey. Back in 2007 a bunch of engineering and medical students decided to form a football club with a view of enjoying football everyday.

It was in 2008 that we participated first time in the oldest football tournament of Gujarat the haasiya trophy.
Football fanatics in surat knows what importance this trophy holds in one's life.

It was in 2010 when we were very close to win this trophy but unfortunately we ended up losing in finals. That was when we dreamed that someday we shall conquer this.
Though we made a record of being the only outsider club (not from rander) to reach the final. People there took out notice that there is football outside of rander and we earned respect.

Time went on.. we won almost every trophy there except this one. We again came close around 2018-19 when we ended up being runners up. The dream was dying. The only thing missing in our club's history was this title.

In between we stopped playing football for 3-4 years. But somewhere somehow the dream of winning this was constantly Reminding me of getting back to it.

We Started playing after Covid. It was hard. Two times we didn't even win the single game and got eliminated in the first round. Eventually we got back our rythem. We started winning at other places. We won singhwala trophy twice , khel mahakumbh twice and lot many other trophies. But again the only missing thing was the haasiya trophy .

And this is where things started happening. I am out of words of describing how we did it. A time when we had no goalkeeper and I had to do keeping. Time when we had cut to cut 11 players and yet we managed to do it. I think it was god's plan. Without that It wouldn't have been possible.

So here it is.. the team surat fc ... We have just completed the cycle of football in surat..
