Tomorrow we kick-start with: Art of Action Film Stunt Special, facilitated by the fab 1066 Wing Chun to learn some kung-fu stunt moves before a full feature screening of...TBC (classic kids kung fu film that inspired Simo Sarah and her son to learn this beautiful form of self-defence)! Saturday Kids Film Club: Art of Action Special - What's On Introducing our new Saturday afternoon film club for 8 - 14 year olds to learn about films and film language. This month's theme is: The Art of Action!

Also, the Electric Palace cinema is launching a brand new Saturday afternoon Kids Club that involves a 45 minute workshop followed by private film screening that you can drop your kids off at and pick up at the end.

All tutors and staff are fully DBS checked and we have a comprehensive safeguarding strategy in place - see info on our webpage.

This is a really great new opportunity to give children some film inspiration and go a bit deeper into the art and craft of filmmaking beyond the little pre-film workshops we do for Family Fridays! Please spread the word!

If you're stuck for something fun to do with the kids this coming Saturday we have a Zine and Badge Making workshop with a few spaces left - its an opportunity to do make a creative response to female action films and stuntwomen! Led by local artist and print maker Tiger Lily - and held in our new upstairs workshop
space as part of our upcoming Art of Action season!!
