The third and final project from this winter season in the desert : Messages From Space, installed for the this year! This work is a sound and light reactive installation featuring custom hardware that detects gamma ray activity and creates a responsive ambient experience through speculative futures storytelling layered with ambient sonic fields.
It was such a joy to install this work at Neptune, expanding the planetary lore into the town of Bombay Beach and having friends and strangers experience it, against this magical landscape. Given the modular nature of the pieces, each iteration of this work is unique and flexible, constantly evolving and growing.

2/3 This year at .college I led an expressive mark making module - Drawing Klerb, over 8 weeks, where we met as a group for hour-long sessions led by prompts that encouraged movement, spatial and material explorations, through timed sessions and collaborative processes.

We tried various techniques, played with dry media, diy-ed drawing tools. So delighted to have had a crew to ride this wave with and to observe how the patterns and marks would grow & evolve over each session along the creative synergy that grew out of it.

These marks were also compiled into a limited edition artist book and were turned into an abstract animation using
