The beginnings of fall in the Hudson Valley, plus Nahri being a total cutie.

My first time ever doing the lemon squeeze and hiking around Mohonk Mountain House! This was over a week before the photos I posted yesterday.

When we woke up at our campsite there were bunnies hopping around everywhere! 😍 There's not a ton of wildlife in Iceland so it was definitely a treat to see these cuties.

So, how did rabbits get to Iceland anyways? Apparently someone released their pet rabbits back in 2010 and now Iceland has a wild rabbit population. Info from grapevine.is

You know it's going to be a good day when you get to pet horses in Iceland.

One of the only forests in Iceland. Those vikings really hated trees.

More from the same waterfall that I shared yesterday. It's so unassuming from the distance. Also, I've hardly altered these images, if at all. The water all over Iceland really is this beautiful blue color.

There were so many locations that are on my favorites list, and this was definitely one of my favorite waterfalls. As you approach, you just see an endless brown landscape with a sliver of water running through. The closer you get, you realize how large the canyon is and how epic this waterfall is!

Obsessed with the basalt columns surrounding this force of nature.

can you sponsor me yet??

Icelandic horses, turf houses, and an adorable little church. Would you stay in one of these for the night? I totally would. Reminds me of the shelters we used to make in the woods when we would find a large hole in the ground and cover it with sticks and leaves.

This was how we started one of our favorite hikes in Iceland... watching 3 sheep walking in a line across this bridge. It's moments like this you realize how lucky you are to be sharing the Earth with such amazing creatures. Please try harder to take care of this rock we call home!

WE'RE GOING BACK TO ICELAND!!!!

We had our honeymoon in Iceland back in 2019 and were completely in awe of the landscape. I haven't even edited all of the images from our last trip, let alone share them πŸ˜‚ So for the next week I'll be sharing some amazing images from our dream trip in 2019, while we're actually back there exploring 😍

This was one of my favorite hikes that we've done in our entire lifetime. Might go back and do it again πŸ˜›.

Yes these pictures are still from our one hike on Ptarmigan Ridge πŸ˜›
Seriously, was this still Earth? How do you go from walking on the moon to picking blueberries then walking through a field of flowers, and oh yeah don't forget the snow.

Wildflower heaven 😍, butterflies, ptarmigans, & marmots (which sound hilarious and you can hear their call echoing through the valleys). You never know what you'll see when you step onto the trail!

Ptarmigan Ridge in Washington - and yes we saw plenty of ptarmigan! They look like wild chickens πŸ”. Also saw plenty of wild flowers and even some snow!
