Imitating Eden
Imitating Eden works to increase regenerative living through education and community building.
Motion is lotion and the more ways you move, the more ways your lymph and joints are circulated; and the more muscles you build and stretch. So when I designed my food forest, I didn't just want healthy food, I wanted healthy movement. That means reaching through trees, climbing, balancing, bending, et cetera, like our bodies were designed to do.
You may never find me in a gym, but you definitely will find me keeping fit in my food forest.
Henry has not been sexed yet, so we don't know if it's male or female. Henry was born an only child but recently gained about 25 small siblings. The Northern Bobwhite Quail are being raised for release in their historical native territory to help rebalance the ecosystem and eat bugs like ticks and ants.
These are for release in their native habitat. To learn more about releasing these avid bug eaters to help rebalance our ecosystem, pm me for a fact sheet.

Here I hold a pawpaw seedling. My goal was to germinate the seed and get it in the ground before the root developed much, but I waited a little too long and you can see it already became "J" shape and suffered some damage because of the container. Yes, I still planted it, but this one will have a little bit more struggle than if I had planted it a few weeks earlier.
