Harsha Kikkeri, CEO, HoloSuit Pte. Ltd. spoke about the futuristic approach of HoloSuit and its role in simulation training for the Defence.
Major General M Indrabalan, Additional Director General, National Cadet Corps, Bihar & Jharkhand spoke about the significance of NCC and the experience curve that it creates in a youngster's life.
Dr. Greg Autry, Clinical Professor of Space Leadership, Policy & Business, Arizona State University and Former White Liaison for NASA highlighted the cycle of failure and success. He said that failure is an integral part of the journey and one must keep trying until the goal is achieved.
DRDO Townhall focused on educating the youth regarding awareness in a self reliant empowerment through indigenous production and highlighted the importance of young entrepreneurs and innovators in molding the future of Nation.
Graced by Chief Guest, Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, Secretary, Dept. of Defence R&D and Chairman, DRDO, the Townhall made a mark on youth's mindset.
Lieutenant General B S Jaswal, PVSM, Bar to AVSM, VSM (retd), Former Commander, Northern Command, Indian Army and Former GOC-in-C, ARTRAC spoke about the paradigm shift in the Defence Production and the need to work towards a Self Reliant India and make AtmaNirbhar Bharat a mission of every citizen.
Panel Discussion themed "Defence R & D in India : Designing for 2050 The Road Ahead" threw a light on the futuristic design and technologies that would open doorways for new possibilities. It also projected that drones, amongst others, would be one of the prime technologies penetrating in almost every industry.

Wing Commander Saurabh Singh Chauhan commissioned at the Aeronautical Branch of Indian Air Force spoke about the scope of IRNSS technology, India's very own GPS and the need for working towards developing indigenous navigation services.

Ahmedabad Design Week 3.0 had kickstarted with a commendable inauguration ceremony graced by the Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Mukund Naravane PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM. He emphasised that change is the only constant and it is important to keep changing with time in order to develop.
With the welcome address delivered by Shri Ritesh Hada, President, Karnavati University, the ceremony also saw the presence of Prahlad Kakar, Ad Guru and Filmmaker, Air Marshal R K Dhir (retd.) Advisor to Gujarat State "Defence and Aerospace Industries" followed by a thank you note by Dr. A K S Suryavanshi, Vice Chancellor, Karnavati University.

Satish Gokhale is the Head of Product Design at DesignDirections and Red Dot Design Awardee. Having him at ADW 3.0 and hearing him speak was incredibly inspiring for our students.

Here's a little glimpse of the first half of ADW 3.0 day 03. Speakers from field of design and production (Set Design). But, it's not over yet. Stay tuned for more on ADW 2022!

While intellectual sessions and speakers were at ADW 3.0, there were also several workshops held. Master Artist Kamlesh Jangid taught the craft of Sandalwood (chandan) carving.

Talking to Prahlad Kakar is an experience apart and to hear his point of view is extremely illuminating. We hope to have him here again very soon.
We at ADW 3.0 are so happy to see Mr. Piyush Mishra (Piyush Mishra) experience the DRDO-UID Defence Exhibit and also meet ANI and DOI!

Shielding us from the high skies by sending information and helping our warriors on field. The DRDO-UID Defence Exhibit showcased Gujarat based start up (Z-AXIS) manufactured drone which can carry load up to 10 Kilograms till 5 Kilometer of range and can be operated from a 1 Kilometer distance. It is also eligible to fly up to 4 Hours.

The DRDO Townhall ignited enthusiasm on the second day of ADW 3.0. With dignitaries from the field of defence and security, students were enthralled and thoroughly enjoyed the session.

Master Artist Shah Rasheed Ahmed Quadri teaches students the ancient art of 'Bidriware'. It is a craft passed down to generations and this workshop has helped continue to share the craft and it's craftsmanship to our students.

With Day 01 wrapped up perfectly, it's time to start Day 02 with the same zeal and enthusiasm. Stay tuned for!
