Social Networks and new digital marketing trends: new channels and the future of the digital marketing is what Amedeo Guffanti, GM 77Agency, spoke about at his 60-minutes interview by Mario Moroni addressing the audience of The Month of Marketing (October, 1-31, 2019), a free tutorial LIVE on the changing world of media and communication, by Marco Montemagno.

The Digital of today faces a new challenge: takeover of retail points of sale with hybrid marketing models, with Amazon and Shopify emerging as new market places alongside with already familiar Google family (YouTube, Analytics, Display, etc) and Facebook tribe (Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp).

We had Matteo Di Palma, Margherita Sunjust Di Teulada and Davide Santicchia participating in the Forum, while Alp Semercioz attended the managers meeting to discuss the future of the network and increased collaboration between the agencies.

In the Forum, there was a client that flew in from Canada, with a real brief in hand.
The people were split into teams, based on a mix of different skillsets and agencies, all competing to become the winning team of the Forum.

After a two-day creative hackathon, the teams presented their strategy and media plan in the Moroccan desert (all teams did a great job by the way, in such a limited time), and the team of Matteo came back home as the winners of 2019 Creative Forum, with their very cool idea of localization, liked a lot by all the jury and the client. There were also some very strong points from the other competing teams, which made it a very closely fought contest.

Facebook-owned platform became a huge digital shopping mall, having launched in the US on March, 19th “Checkout on Instagram” with 23 top brands making it possible to shop favorite labels without leaving the app, thanks to stored payment info.

Insights and business opportunities in areas such as SMB, verticals, creative and messaging were among the key topics that were discussed at the summit.
