Hey all we need furniture and small appliances please! Also household accessories! Imagine having absolutely nothing and needing to make a 2/1 livable. We can pickup also!

Second seasons can you put a house warming gift together for this? ❤️

This is for a Family of 3 that are now out of a temp camper and in a home and they have zippo! We do not need clothing. Rugs, towels, lamps, queen beds and bedding, mirrors, dressers, dishes and silverware…..you get it.

Earlier this morning, there was a major break in the water line in the area of Camp Branch and Browning Road. This is not only impacting the water supply but also the streets in that area, some of which are closed. Expect this area to be impacted for most of the day while crews work to address the issue.

Additionally, a power line is down in the area of Hazelwood Avenue. Duke Power is currently responding.

Due to the water line break and impact on the system, the Town of Waynesville has issued a Boil Advisory.

Please see the following per the Town of Waynesville:

The water consumers of the Town of Waynesville in Haywood County are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to a line break. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increase the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.

Therefore, when water service is restored, consumers are advised to boil all water used for human consumption (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation) or use bottled water. Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any organisms that may be present in the water.

Water customers are strongly urged to conserve water whenever possible. This advisory remains in effect until further written notification is issued.
