Making Every Moment Meaningful when dealing with Dementia is not easy. But with patience, education, understanding and a lot of creativity; it can happen. In 2003, I had a car accident at the age of 28. The result was TBI Dementia which has many of the same negative effects on someone as Alzheimers’ Dementia. Working with Seniors most of my life not only gave me a love for helping those who lived great lives but also helped me understand much of what they go through when I was faced with my own struggles. Though I will never be 100%, the road was hard and I did everything I could to fight what was happening to me. I have that same passion for helping others with their disease, which cannot be cured.
