Today is the day! Mohammed Bati will step to the line with the best runners in the country in Terre Haute. Bati has had an incredible season, and we are already beyond proud of him. But he’s not done yet!

🚨 Mohammed Bati Earns Another Award!

Mohammed Bati was named the North Region Men’s Athlete of the Year by the today! After winning every 8K that he’s raced in 2024, including the title and NCAA North Region title, the coaches of the North Region honored Bati with this well-deserved award!

Bati is the first Augsburg Cross Country athlete to earn the a Regional Athlete of the Year honor.

Next up: NCAA Championships on Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, IN.

Mohammed Bati took the North Region title and punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships!

Mo is the first Auggie runner to win a cross country regional title. He’ll be making his 2nd NCAA championships appearance.

Bati will race in Terre Haute, IN next Saturday (Nov. 23).

🚨For the third consecutive year, Mohammed Bati has been named the MIAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year!

Bati earned this honor by winning the conference title last Saturday at St. Olaf, becoming the first competitor in MIAC Championship history to break 24 minutes in the 8K race [23:54.6].

Nice work, Mo!

Mo continued his stellar 2024 Cross Country campaign by capturing the MIAC title in a new course record [23:56.1]. Mo is now one of three men to ever win three consecutive MIAC titles.

3️⃣ Not one, not two, but now THREE times in as many weeks, Mohammed Bati has been named the MIAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week! 🫨

Mohammed won the Jim Drew’s Invite hosted by UW-La Crosse on Oct. 19 for his 3rd title of the fall. With his victory, Bati also set a new course record, again!
