Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” And He said, “Go, and tell this people:

Isaiah 54:13-15 NKJV
All your children shall be taught by the LORD, And great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.
Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

A message of God's faithfulness and just to forgive us our sins. 1 John 1:9-10
Over the years, I set aside my spiritual anchor, the Word of God, and consequently, I lost my way and the strength it provided.
I recognized that pivotal moment as akin to Samson's experience, as described in Judges 16:21 - Then the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes and took him down to Gaza. Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison.
Depression brought forth the spirit of apathy, and in that struggle, I found resonance with the story of Gideon as recounted in Judges 6:11 - His son Gideon was threshing wheat in the winepress in order to hide it from the Midianites.
Recognizing that it was apathy, I chose to rise above it!
I experienced a period of running away, similar to Elijah fleeing from Jezebel, and during that time, I subjected my body to sin. 1 Kings 19:3 - Elijah was afraid when he got her message, and he ran to the town of Beersheba in Judah. He left his servant there, 4 then walked another whole day into the desert. Finally, he came to a large bush and sat down in its shade. He begged the Lord, “I've had enough. Just let me die! I'm no better off than my ancestors.” 5 Then he lay down in the shade and fell asleep.
In my current residence, a 5-6 bedroom house with a pool on the lake, I find myself smiling as I reflect on my humble beginnings in Christ. Those were the days of living day to day in a motel, uncertain about the next meal. Looking back, I realize those were the best moments of my life, marked by the unknown but lived in peace between myself and God.
In my disappointment, I succumbed to anger and disobedience, reminiscent of Moses striking the rock as described in Numbers 20:10 - “Listen, you rebels!” he shouted. “Must we bring you water from this rock?” 11 Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with the staff, and water gushed out. So the entire community and their livestock drank their fill. 12 But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust me enough to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land I am giving them!”
I received a revelation from Deuteronomy 28, which outlines blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. I acknowledged that I had not been obedient, and as a consequence, challenges came, akin to locusts as destroyers. Despite this, I find solace in the fact that my God is a restorer. I am deeply grateful for those whom I poured love into, as their expressions of gratitude serve as a testimony to His unwavering faithfulness.
