Congratulations to Mirvac Residential on topping out Trielle at Yarra's Edge in Docklands this week.

Through our long-standing partnership with Mirvac and collaboration with the City of Melbourne, we're helping deliver 188 new homes and enhanced waterfront public spaces.

With partnerships spanning over more than two decades, we've played a key role in shaping Docklands into one of Melbourne's most successful urban renewal precincts, delivering housing, public amenity and lasting value close to the C*D.

Things are shifting up a gear at the Albert Park Pit Building redevelopment!

We're partnering with F1 Australian Grand Prix, Parks Victoria and State Sport Centres to deliver a major redevelopment of the pit building ahead of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2028 - helping secure Melbourne's position on the global sporting stage while creating a facility that supports community sport year-round.

Construction is racing ahead, with the Level 1 concrete slab now complete and frame installation continuing across the building.

The Level 2 mezzanine steel is also nearly finished, giving a clearer glimpse of the building’s final shape.

Here's some speedy stats of what's being installed:
· 59 tonnes of steel
· 791 linear metres of timber
· 208 feature concrete panels

Our interns are well and truly settled into their second rotations 🔀

For Giselle, that means shifting gears from large-scale projects with our precincts team, to helping deliver more homes for Victorians in housing 🏠

All that while juggling studies at uni! We love seeing our interns take on what Development Victoria has to offer 💪

Partnerships are key to delivering better outcomes for regional Victoria - and that's exactly what we've done at Bendigo Stadium 🤝

The redevelopment is now complete - providing new multi-sport courts, upgraded facilities, improved accessibility and sustainable building features for the community.

We delivered the project on behalf of Sport and Recreation Victoria and in partnership with Red Energy Arena Bendigo and the City of Greater Bendigo. With Fairbrother as head contractor and City Collective as lead designer, this is a great example of what can be achieved when government, industry and local partners work together.

The project creates more opportunities for local athletes, clubs and visitors to play, train and compete close to home. A win for regional Victorians is a win for us 🏀

Work is underway at Silverbrook Mount Duneed, with local contractors getting the site ready for new homes in the Greater Geelong region.

We're delivering around 400 new homes - including 25% social and affordable - as well as important transport infrastructure, including:

- a new 4-way signalised intersection on Baanip Boulevard
- a bus interchange
- and commuter car park and pick-up and drop-off at Waurn Ponds Station.

Together, these pieces will help connect future residents to jobs and services and Geelong city, all while supporting local jobs and economic activity.

Purple looks good on us! 💜

Our team wore it purple to celebrate diversity, inclusion and let LGBTQIA+ young people know they can be themselves, always.

With 75% of LGBTQIA+ youth experiencing some form of discrimination, visible support and allyship continues to matter, helping young people feel seen, valued and safe.

At Development Victoria, we know inclusive teams deliver better outcomes for Victorians.

With a dedicated Pride Working Group and allies across the org, we're proud to foster a culture where diversity is valued and our people thrive.

A future home for sport, recreation and community is continuing to take shape at Bulleen Park ⚽🏏

From the new pavilion roofing and goal post netting, to cricket practice nets and tiered spectator seating, key elements of the redevelopment are coming together as work progresses across the site.

We can't wait to see local clubs, players and the wider community enjoying these upgrades.

Things are moving up at the Albert Park Pit Building redevelopment - literally!

The ground floor steel frame is now largely in place, with steel beams being lifted by crane and connected to form the skeleton of the new building.

Next stop? Timber and roof installation as the project continues to take shape above ground.

See the transformation for yourself!
