"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Our club is turning 90 this year! So, to commemorate this milestone we have committed to doing 90 days of service. We started on October 1st when the 24-25 Kiwanis year started and will continue until our "birthday" on April 5th. We have already completed 29 days of service so we have 61 more to go over the next four months. We will update all our followers again soon.

How much good can be done in one day?
Our second annual nearly doubled its initial goal, resulting in more than US$130,000 raised for the Kiwanis Children's Fund! Thatβs enough to reach more than 57,000 children. Wow! π
Mark your calendars now: Kiwanis Day of Giving returns February 25.

Come join us and Junior League of Greater Winter Haven and the City of Winter Haven for lots of fun, free books, and Santa!

On Tuesday, November 19th, our club hosted the first Divisional Council Meeting (DCM) for the 2024-2025 Kiwanis Year. We heard from various Key Club and Kiwanis leaders in our division. We discussed the importance of legacy and how the Service Leadership Programs (SLPs) are a massive part of our Kiwanis legacy. Thank you to all the Kiwanis Club in our Division who could join: Lakeland Kiwanis Club, Citrus Center Kiwanis of Lakeland Florida, Kiwanis Club of Mulberry, and the Kiwanis Club of Bartow. We also were joined by five Key Club members from three of our four sponsored Key Clubs. Excellent job to our Lieutenant Governor, Adam.

On November 16th, our club participated in ROAR Florida first 5K Color Run. We had an absolute blast providing a fun interactive booth for the participants. We also saw them get "colored" when starting and finishing the 5K. π΄π΅π’π‘π£

We also have our SAC committee meeting going on at 6 PM tomorrow. Parents are welcome to attend this meeting while their students are receiving assistance at the Fund Your Future event upstairs.

Notice anyone familiar!?! Our immediate past president and current treasurer, Robert, is serving as the Districtβs Social Media chair.
Unfortunately, due to a lower-than-expected turnout and sales for our upcoming Grillin' For a Change. We have made the difficult decision to cancel the event scheduled for Saturday, November 16th.
We understand this may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We greatly appreciate your interest and support, and we are committed to providing future events that will meet your expectations.
Thank you again for your understanding, and we hope to see you at a future event.
