Inspired by an organizing call today, I made a lil song for this very Philly sentiment, connecting struggles here in the US and around the world. And because it’s really the heartiest way to say “Amen”—GO BIRDS. Sing along and get amped for the work we have to do together.
I’m doing my best to step into the amazing organizing happening in Philly and I’m here to talk if you are looking to do the same. Let’s hold each other in this work. One way you can jump in is joining —I’m hoping for us to plug in even in our off-season!
Please use wherever needed! In solidarity today and every day. People have the power.

Glad to share a little about this wonderful show!
Poor Judge, a play that features the music of Aimee Mann, is wildly stretched and reformed into “a live music mixtape is part spy story, part woeful tale of lost loves, and part Hollywood audition.”
We caught up with its star, Pax Ressler, to chat about the play, the community around it, and what it’s like to, in this case, live inside the work of two great artists simultaneously — in this case, both Aimee Mann and Dito van Reigersberg.

Please come see this show that Dito (), Eva (), and Alex () created with an ensemble of wondrous actor-musicians. I started rehearsals for Poor Judge this week, and have been attempting to fill my friend Dito’s gigantic shoes—but more importantly, to simply be of use to this production, which was one of my favorite things I’ve ever seen in Philly when it premiered last year. Luckily, I’m surrounded by dear friends as I learn ( ), and very grateful for their friendship. I hope we’ll see you here for this stunner.

Au revoir, Paris! 🇫🇷 After four months, I’m headed back to Philadelphia. I’ve never been so simultaneously glad to come home, and devastated to leave where I am. Paris really captured my heart and l learned a lot—about myself, about the world, and some French. ✨
Here are some photos from a trip to Venice and our last days in Paris. Thank you to my wonderful partner Rose for conspiring on this sabbatical with me. ❤️ I feel full, grateful, and ready for our next adventure. Can’t wait to see you, friends!

Friends! I miss you! Here is some of my Europe summer in scattered photos from Paris, Fontainebleau, Berlin, Dieulefit, Toulouse, and Rome. Venice coming forthwith.
I’m amazed and grateful for this time to learn and recharge. I’m making new card games, writing and playing lots of music, contemplating f a $ c i $ t governments in our time and a century ago. I feel really full.
I’m missing Philly and exited to count down the days until we get back, while saying a slow au revoir to Paris for the next 10 days. I’LL BE BACK SOON!

I’m sending a flurry of photos from France to let you know that I’m alive and feeling very grateful for this time. 🌱 While I settle into life here, I’ve also had twinges of missing home in Philadelphia. ✨ This time away has really stretched and fulfilled me—I’m writing lots of music, spending time with friends, dreaming about future projects, and traveling (most recently to Avignon, Frankfurt, Edinburgh). Please feel free to reach out! I’d love to hear from you. 💜
