GROUNDED is a series that draws inspiration from the timeless Inuksuk rock sculptures of Canada, reimagining them through a vivid collage technique. Each artwork features these iconic markers set against diverse, isolated landscapes capturing the essence of Canada’s vast natural beauty.

Combined with inspiration from trekking and canoeing the beauty found in northern Ontario. The collages blend photographs of colourful flowers, leaves, stems, rocks, animal patterns, and textures found in nature.

The artwork represents the balance found in nature, where every component plays a role in maintaining the environment’s stability.
