One of the potential agroforest tree species with multiple uses is Sienna siamea. This legume is so important to apiculturists by supporting different bee activities. Tephrosia vongelii “fish bean” is a herb native to tropical Africa that we use to prevent pests and diseases, specifically fleas and ticks on animals and crops in farms. Being a legume, it correctly fixes nitrogen and provides green manure in good bulks. This organic pesticide plant is also used to cure skin diseases, internal worms and for crops storage. The practice cuts off needs and uses for expensive toxic artificial pesticides, eventually raising quality that wins premium market prices.

The most interesting fact about the tree is how it has been successfully used for general body pain relief and digestive disorders such as constipation and vomiting in most of the African societies.
