St Lucia! What a time was had!
My wonderful BK family were very much in the house, and when I tell you we REPRESENTED the UK! 🇬🇧
It was an absolute joy and an honour to be on that stage at the , I’m playing to such a huge crowd!
It was so hot every time I drew a breath it felt like I was breathing in the heat from an oven, but all the same we made sure that that mic was on!!!🔥👊🏾
It was made all the sweeter for me because lots of my family joined me, my husband my sister Cynthia my brother-in-law Chris, who are the parents of my niece , my mummy, my uncle (her brother), my aunt, and my cousin who flew in especially from the US.
It truly felt like a family affair in all senses of the word, musically spiritually and physically.
I can’t wait for the day that I get to return to this beautiful island and stand on a St. Lucia stage again. Until then it’s been real and thank you, St. Lucia!🇱🇨❤️🫶🏾

Great to chat to and on this morning in g about the release of the cast album for tomorrow, and my Born to Perform tour in June!
It’s so exciting to be reprising my role as Emmeline Pankhurst for the third time and taking the show in a few cities around the country, along with also back as Sylvia Pankhurst.

I’m soooo chuffed, gassed, hyped, ALL the words (😂) to be heading back out on the road with my band for this tour which intergrates all aspects of my career to date.

Your reminder that whatever the world throws at us, however dark things might seem, however difficult life can get sometimes...change is certain anf I believe everything will be alright.
I released this song on this day 5 years ago when the world was a very different place. We keep our heads up, we find our strength, we bring the energy and we ALWAYS keep the faith. 🙏🏾
