Take a few minutes to prepare some items just in case.

Hello All,
We are hearing multiple reports of a possible significant weather event coming to the area. You may want to prepare for an extended power outage. Fill up vehicles and generator’s with fuel, get a few buckets of water prepared to operate toilets, charge your cell phones, secure your trampolines and anything else that you might need. Also talk to your family about the safest places to be if a storm hits in your home. (Basement, bathtub, etc). Please be prepared.

Sad to hear this news about Cam Stewart. Our thoughts go out to his family and the entire Bruins organization.

It is with tremendous sadness that the Uxbridge Bruins mourn the recent loss of our longtime club president Cam Stewart.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 4, Cam, passed away peacefully with his wife, Alice, and their family by his side. As those of you who encountered Cam over his many years of service to the Bruins organization will know, he was an extremely kind and generous man who dedicated much of his life to making his community, and the lives around him, better.
Cam will be deeply missed; by his family, by the Bruins organization, and by the entire community of Uxbridge. But we know his spirit, hard work, and legacy will live on through the years, and we will think of him often. Rest in peace Cam.

Visitation for Cam will be held at Low and Low Funeral Home in Uxbridge (23 Main St. South) on Sunday, June 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. His funeral will be held at Eastridge Missionary Church (12485 Tenth Line in Stouffville on Monday, June 10th at 11 a.m.

Help bring back the roar at Uxbridge Secondary School (USS)! The "Restore the Roar" campaign is a community-driven effort to revive the school's football program, which has been a pivotal part of student life and community spirit in Uxbridge. The campaign aims to raise $50,000 to cover equipment and operational costs for starting a junior football team in 2024, with plans to expand to a senior team by 2026.

Football offers students of all skill levels a chance to engage in team sports, fostering confidence, friendships, and a stronger connection to the school community. What a fabulous story! Way to go Sherrill ❤️

A special shout-out to Friday morning cashier, Sherrill Hodgson, who shared a hidden feature on her purse with a customer who she noticed had the same purse. When she showed her the hidden compartment, the customer was thrilled to find an assortment of $bills! The customer's purse was purchased at another thrift store 3 years ago; due to a surgery next week she will not be working. This couldn't've happened at a better time - Thank You Sherrill🥰
