In 2022, I took a step back from designing so I could concentrate on helping care for my younger sister, Eve Hars, who was battling stage 4 breast cancer. I moved to Hudson, NY, and lived with her. We had many beautiful times and memories to last a lifetime. 2023, however, was a horrific year with 2 beautiful sisters, Adele and Eve, dying from this horrendous disease. After Eve's passing, I took a solo trip around the country that I called "My Journey of Healing." It was a time to mourn and a time to reflect.

I've come to realize that Designing and building are still my true passions and New England is my home. I recently moved back to Southern New Hampshire to restart my passion and I look forward to the next chapter. -Maria

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I was just at my friend’s beautiful celebration of life and there was probably about 500 people here it was just amazing. He was an amazing carpenter and landscaper as well as a friend. You will always be in my heart-Dan. We will see each other again.
