The first time I experienced the Cowhorse Spectacular at the Calgary Stampede—and watched an elite rider like Geoff Hoar compete—I was completely captivated.

The athleticism, the partnership, and the heart these horses show left a lasting impression.

That passion became part of a much bigger decision—to leave behind the life I knew, move to Alberta, and immerse myself in the western industry.

Today, AF Ranch Media is the result of that leap.

My goal is to tell the stories of the horses, riders, and ranches that make this community so special.

This gorgeous mare is a Morgan named "Gracie" that she has in for training, on consignment. If you're looking for the perfect Barbie dream horse, she is for sale!!

Who would think a Morgan could turn out to be a cool Reiner? In KC Equine's program the possibilities are endless. This horse can do it all, from hitting the trails to the show pen, she's one cool mare.

Another day behind the lens with Gillis Quarter Horses, capturing fast runs, great horses, and the kind of moments that make western life so special. Add in a sunset trail ride to wrap up the day, and I'd call that time well spent.

A little bit of honesty... ❤️

My horse has suffered a severe injury and has needed emergency veterinary care. Like many people, this year has brought some unexpected life changes, and with the worst possible timing, the vet bill isn't something I can comfortably handle on my own.

Rather than asking for help, I'd love to do what I do best.

For the next few weeks, I'm opening a limited number of Support Sessions at $250 to help cover Bobbi’s veterinary costs.

Every session booked will go directly toward my mare's veterinary expenses while also helping me continue building AF Ranch Media.

Session options include:

~ On-location sessions at your farm, ranch, or favourite riding spot.

~ Mini sessions at our acreage by appointment.

~ Western Experience Sessions: Don't have a horse of your own? We've got you covered. Thanks to my partnership with KC Equine, you can create timeless western portraits alongside one of their exceptional performance horses. Known for their quiet temperaments, outstanding training, and beautiful appearance, these horses provide a truly authentic western experience.

We tagged along to a local rope night, showed up after the sun was already going down, and ended up spending the evening surrounded by good horses, good people, and plenty of laughs.

Thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome. It was one of those evenings that reminds me exactly why I started AF Ranch Media ~ to document the Western lifestyle as it really is. Not just the big shows, but the late nights, the dusty arenas, the cold beers after a few runs, and the friendships built around good horses.
