Dear Supporter of the Dairy Club at Virginia Tech,
The spring semester is an exciting and busy time for our members, alumni, and friends of the Dairy Club at Virginia Tech. Every spring, we publish our annual yearbook, the Milky Way, host the Little All-American Show, and celebrate club achievements at the Little All-American Banquet. The Dairy Club is currently seeking your support for our 2020 activities, and the following paragraphs share information on how you can get involved.
The Milky Way has been a tradition in the Dairy Club for many years. It has grown to reach alumni and industry professionals across the U.S. as a great promotional and recruiting tool. This year’s edition will feature the accomplishments of our students and 2020 graduates during the past school year. Success of the Milky Way would not be possible without the help of supporters like you who can purchase advertisements to be showcased in our publication. Parents may also want to celebrate a graduate with an advertisement and may do so by submitting a document with pictures or messages. Please use the link below to submit advertisements. For any questions about advertisements, contact Catherine Savage at [email protected].
This year’s Milky Way yearbook will be distributed as a hard copy. Please use the link below to request your free copy. Any questions about the Milky Way can be addressed to Becky Wilkins at [email protected].
The 92nd annual Little All-American Show will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 9 a.m. in the Livestock Judging Pavilion on Plantation Road. The Little All-American Show is a highly anticipated and well-attended event each year. In the two weeks leading up to the show, it is the student’s responsibility to care for and prepare a heifer randomly assigned to them for the fitting and showing competition. Businesses or individuals can sponsor awards for the show using the link below. Please contact Elizabeth Menard at [email protected] for questions about sponsors.
The Little All-American banquet serves to honor and commemorate the hard work and achievements of our devoted members over the past year. This year’s banquet will be held at Custom Catering in Blacksburg, VA at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Tickets can be ordered at the link below. If you have any questions, contact Sarah Thomas at [email protected].
To request your Milky Way copy, submit an advertisement, help sponsor the Little All-American show, or order banquet tickets, please fill out the online form that can be found at https://tinyurl.com/dairyclub2020 by March 15th.
We thank you for your continued support of the Dairy Club at Virginia Tech!
Sincerely,
The Milky Way and Little All-American team
