WOW!!! 🚀 Yesterday was nothing short of inspiring at Clements High School! 🚀✨

We had the incredible honor of welcoming back two of our very own alumni—Loral O’Hara, NASA astronaut, who spent 204 days at the International Space Station and Pooja Jesrani, the first South Asian female Flight Director at NASA. Talk about Ranger pride at its finest!

During the school day, we had a packed house during 7th period! Our students had the opportunity to hear their stories firsthand, ask thoughtful questions, and truly engage with what it means to dream big and work hard. Their curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm made us so proud—this is what it means to be a Clements Ranger.

In the evening, we opened our doors to the community for a special event that brought everyone together to celebrate these remarkable women. We were honored to have the Mayor of Sugar Land present a proclamation officially declaring April 9th as Loral O’Hara Day and Pooja Jesrani Day—a moment our community will never forget.

Our talented students also created and presented custom portraits as gifts, making the experience even more personal and meaningful.

We were Ranger Ready today to be inspired and so many of us were! 💙💫

Senior class selfie with Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Gray! This is what over 660 teenagers look like in one place. Senior panoramic day was a huge success!! Our students were, as always, extremely respectful and kind throughout the process. I’m so proud of the class of 2026.

Round two of our CHS alumni tours was a huge success!

As we prepare for the demolition of our current building and the exciting construction of a new one, we had the privilege of welcoming CHS alumni back home for special alumni tours. What made these tours truly special wasn’t just revisiting classrooms or familiar spaces — it was watching generations connect.

Our student tour guides proudly shared their school with those who once walked the very same halls, while alumni reminisced, laughed, and shared memories that helped shape the legacy of CHS. The sense of nostalgia was undeniable, and it was a powerful reminder that while buildings may change, Ranger pride and tradition endure.

Thank you to our alumni who came back to celebrate the past with us as we look forward to the future. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger.

We are extremely excited to celebrate Mr. Jeff Johnson, band director, as he is a FBISD District Teacher of the Year Finalist 2025-26!! He has been a Ranger even before he became a teacher as a student walking these halls. Congratulations!!
