AS WE RISE

Throwback to our 9th show ever, supporting Infected Rain in Fort Collins. This was the first time we added a few new songs to the set and our first show playing with an (inter)national act - which blew our mind. Hanna made some of her Hanna Wilder Art gifts for Lena Scissorhands and we took a few pictures between set changes.

Sometimes it's cool to go back through past shows and remember all the little details. I've been pretty good at remembering to put up my amp cam 🔊 most shows, so let's see if I can get some fun footage at our Powerman5000 show in a few weeks! 🎥

We've got a lot of cool things in store for the rest of the year - even though we're playing less shows overall - we're being more intentional about how we're booking them, with who, and fun custom merch and giveaways for each one, so we get to all have a token of great memories every time we a are reminded of the energy we spent, together.

Almost two weeks later and we are still vibing hard on FoCoMX - Fort Collins Music eXperiment - with an audience buzzing both inside and outside the building once Surfside 7 hit capacity. A party that nobody will EVER forget.

What a sick night it was seeing, vibing, and hanging with the one and only Sevendust 🥳 Fire From the Gods and Atreyu on Friday night. All three bands crushed it, and it has to be the most packed Denver show I've ever been to (in all seriousness Summit Music Hall you should look into capacity cause if a fire broke out, ain't nobody escaping that venue packed tighter than sardines).

FFTG really surprised me live, so so good. Atreyu still delivering and Sevendust coming out with Home, Terminator and Denial right off the bat was a great way to get it going! I can't express how great it is to see their new songs land so hard as well - they're really at the top of their game and still one of the top 10 live shows I've ever seen. If you're on the fence, go see them!

What can be said about FoCoMX that could properly express how awesome it was? 🤔 🥳

TL;DR - It feels absolutely amazing to participate in an event this large, yet locally focused. 🙌

Just, wow. So many amazing artists, so many amazing friends, and so many stories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who spent time with us during our set or as we traveled around like nomads to discover new bands. We even saw Backstage Flash 🫂

Thanks to Surfside 7 for being one of the raddest punk venues in the USA always being so welcoming & fun, and thanks to all the volunteers and FANS of music that made this fest sell out completely. 🫂 🤗 🥳 🌪
