The “glass ceiling” is defined as an unofficially acknowledged barrier to advancement in a profession that especially affects women; however, I believe that I can do anything I put my mind to. I am a leader, I don’t let other people’s opinion affect me, I will always do the right thing, and I will always give my all in everything I do. In order to break these glass ceilings, we as women must be willing to work hard and persevere. What are you doing to break glass ceilings for yourself and other women?💪🏼 ceiling

It’s so I wanted to shout out some of the people who have supported me this year as a local titleholder. My amazing friends, families, and directors have been so helpful throughout this crazy year and i’m so thankful to have had them all by my side. I couldn’t have done it without you all (and so many more people not pictured)!❤️

In honor of “Suddenly Sleepy Saturday” being yesterday, I decided to hold a can/bottle/coin drive at a local store to raise money and spread awareness. With Narcolepsy as my platform, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do this. All the money I raised will be donated to Stanford Sleep Center to hopefully help find a cure. Thank you to everyone who donated cans, bottles, and money! Guess how much money was raised in the comments below!👇🏻

Perseverance is defined as “persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success”. Finding the motivation to do your school work or get ready for a practice can be very difficult, but there are many ways to improve your perseverance skills. If you really want to achieve something, you should not let any obstacles stand in your way. What is something you’ve accomplished through persevering? 💪🏼

Happy New Year everyone!🎉 Although 2020 was filled with MANY challenges, we all learned life lessons that we will never forget. One of the biggest lessons I learned was to never let the negative outweigh the positive. When you have a positive mindset, you can overcome any obstacle that gets in your way. What was a lesson you learned from 2020? Comment below!🥳

Happy Thanksgiving!! I am so thankful for all of these amazing people plus so many more. What I am most thankful for this Thanksgiving is the time that I was able to spend with William (first picture). He was such an amazing friend and I will never forget the impact he had on me. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?🦃❤️

On this night 19 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00 a.m. Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. Tonight as you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

Today is day! My love for singing started in 6th grade when I joined our schools Drama Club and I have been involved ever since.🎭 I’ve also sang the National Anthem at sporting events and have performed in many talent shows/cabarets! This video is from our schools 2019 production Once Upon A Mattress where I played Princess Winifred!❤️

There are so many beautiful places in New York it’s hard to pick a favorite. I’m so lucky that one of the most beautiful places, The Great Sacandaga Lake, is basically in my backyard and happens to be my dogs favorite place to go swimming. Another place that is very special to me is the campground my family and I have camped at for 12 years. Alpine Lake is where i’ve met some of my best friends that are like family to me. One last place that was very cool to see is the Statue of Liberty. My first time seeing it was on a school field trip and learning about the history of it and how it represents our freedom was very interesting💕

During this scary time, we can not forget how important it is to get a proper amount of sleep, stay active, and support others in our community ( from afar of course )⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
With as my social impact initiative, I’d like to take this opportunity to explain to you the harm that sleep depravation can cause to your body’s health. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
People who stay up late at night are at higher risk for developing depression, anxiety, breast cancer, heart disease, diabetes, or even strokes. They also tend to be tired, moody, and lazy the next day making it hard to get anything productive done. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
It is very important that during this self-quarantine/social distancing time that we stay active. Laying around on your phone all day is not good for your physical or mental health. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Going for a walk or a run outside is a great way to get some exercise as well as some fresh air. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Supporting your local businesses is very important at this time. Many businesses have been forced to close, which can be devastating to not just a business owner, but to their family, their employees... and even the community at large. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Although restaurants are not allowed to have customers dine-in, many restaurants are offering delivery and takeout to keep money coming in. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Today, I donated a bunch of dog food as well as toys to our local humane society. ⁣⁣⁣
