Sustainable Development Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources

Over the last 7 years, our team at The Song Saa Foundation has rolled out a variety of programmes to engage the local communities, educate them on the importance of sustainability and demonstrate how they can do their part to conserve the home they love. We look forward to bringing this to a much larger scale right here at Song Saa Reserve

Song Saa Reserve

A UNIQUE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY

Drawing on the success of the multi-award winning Song Saa Private Island, Cambodia’s first high-end coastal resort and a true pioneer in sustainable development, our latest endeavour, the Song Saa Reserve, located adjacent to Banteay Srey Temple in Siem Reap, aims to set a global benchmark for high-end, environmentally and socially conscious tourism development with the country’s first ethically led mixed-use resort.

"Since Melita and I arrived in Cambodia in 2005, we’ve felt a deep sense of commitment to developing the country in a way that’s inclusive and aligns all stakeholder interests while showing the world just how special this country is. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved with Song Saa Private Island and the work of the Song Saa Foundation and I couldn’t be more excited to share with you our next adventure, the Song Saa Reserve. This project scales up our ethos and approach and allows Cambodia to show the world how tourism, done right, is a powerful means for lifting people out of poverty and protecting the environment, while delivering lifetime experiences to global travellers and attractive returns to our shareholders.”
