Social medical service? What does it look like?
See video below.
I've talked about me *volunteering* as a healthcare practitioners a lot lately, so I'm curious...
Do you feel any joy while you have to wake up at 4 in a Sunday morning, it's a hot, tiring, experience, and you ended up have a late lunch?
Do you feel like it's worth it even if you got back with a sore back?
Do you keep coming back over and over again, even with all the exhaustion, the tired-ness, and *no profit* involved?
If you're saying "yes" to all the above, I'm with you.
Seeing people get the health support they can get lights me up.
Honest talk:
I won't say that I'm an angel, they're getting all the support they needed, or they're healed after one-time visit.
But we tried our best. We're doing the things not many people would do.
And we're improving every single day.
P.S. 👉 What does the health volunteering look like in your place?

Because #PharmacistCopywriter is my middle name, yep - I'm doing copywriting and revolving healthcare at the same time.
My hopes when I decided to become a copywriter are:
No more BS jargon in the health space. No more overclaim.
Just pure intentions and a generous offer to help more people.
DM "Pharmacy" if this sounds like you.

I attended a post-graduate lecture when I was 12. I slightly remember the degree (it's International Business postgraduate degree), but what I remember: - The lecture topic: Market share in the International market - The guys, although each of them is good-looking (I swear by this), act childish => they throw tissues at girls, including me. - I actually quite understand what the lecturer's talking about when the lecture is delivered in Mandarin. For so long, I never thought it mattered. Or nothing about my life matters. Until I got into the freelancing world and learned about copywriting. It makes me learn that whatever happens, what do you know, whatever your life experience is... It matters. It's important to someone out there. It changes someone's life out there. And so, I'm learning to cherish every memory (especially the unique one... Not everyone at age 12 attends post-graduate lectures) Happy weekend, and enjoy the moment 😊 P.S. 👉 Reintroducing myself in a new format. #happysaturday #copywriterslife #weekend #freelancing #copywriting
Can we gossip for a while? 2 marketing lessons I learn (and 1 personal opinion): 1. The more top-tier the influencers are, the more successful your campaign is. There's no right or wrong in choosing influencers. Doesn't mean the not-so-famous influencers will doom your campaign. It's not a guarantee too that the famous one will bring success to your campaign. It's about WHO aligns with your brand the most. So check their background and personality is key. 2. Top-tier, expensive influencers are professionals. *Honestly*: not every influencer is a professional. It's not about their price tag. No matter how professional the influencer is, you have to make sure: - Their audience and their personality aligns with your brand. - Communicating about your brand, what it stands for, and its mission will be the #1 priority. Even if you're doing a LIVE SALE = because it's what makes people buy from you even if you're NOT doing anything. 3. (Personal opinion): I'm not against a scripted apology, but give a reason and be real as to why you're doing what you do and what does your apology mean. #marketingmyths #marketinglesson #fridaymarketing #marketinggossip #marketinginfluencers
I might sound arrogant if I say this… Recently, I’ve enrolled in a finance investment workshop. While I’m actually eager to learn about finance and money, I’m stuck. When it’s the time to submit my feedback… (because it’s a free workshop) I watched the workshop 3-5 times to finally understand a (little) bit about the material. And when I try to implement what I’ve learned, I can’t. Because I'm not sure if I can do this right (I still submit the feedback anyway - the host deserves it). So, I want to address 3 things: - It’s a myth that a copywriter can write in ANY niche (because no one can really understand every niche) - It’s a myth that a science-sy person cannot learn to write in an engaging, compelling manner and - Copywriting is not only about the WHO (who you’re writing for), but also the WHAT (do you really understand what you’re writing?) Even if I can understand finance someday, I cannot compare my knowledge to that of an accountant or financial advisor. And this is the reason I’m sticking to my niche: My 4-year pharmacy degree - I’m confident with my knowledge. If someone out there is writing a health/wellbeing article WITHOUT a health/health-related degree background, then why can’t I? I’m not claiming that I’m the best copywriter in the world, the best copywriter in the health/beauty/veterinary niche, or the best pharmacist, but I do have my authority in this niche. Happy Sunday 🤗 P.S.: If you disagree with me, lmk in the comments with a reasonable explanation.
Excited about this, because this topic is combining my marketing knowledge and beauty industry knowledge, so decided to make a reel for it. For me, the questions that I must ask before I want to integrate storytelling and selling (like doing a TV show or drama): 1. Will this story relate to your target audience? 2. Will this story plot be enjoyable/makes sense to your target audience? 3. How does your product play a part in this storyline and in real life? Any thoughts? Drop the comments below. P.S.: I won't talk about the sales because I don't have any data/insights to prove whether the drama has an impact on their sales. Honestly, I think it has an impact but not so much. When I read the comments posted, it's mostly women.
Activity of the week: 1. Editing video 2. Attending Beauty Accelerate Virtual Event @alluredmedia 3. Attending BaZi workshop (Chinese version of Human Design) by @bryy_ss Feeling grateful for: 1. Making new friends 2. Understand myself better 3. Having fun this week. Thank you @lidyaanatalia__ Me before freelancing: - Accepting the society norm as rules of life. - Working 8-12 hour every day - Never care for the process, only the result. - Growing up confused and following the rules to be safe. - Networking, communities, and volunteering as useless and a waste of time. Me after freelancing: 1. Society is not the norm and they're not always right. It's about who sees it and the individual's perspective. 2. Realizing that it took a toll on my mental health, I try to slow down a bit (4 to 8 maximum). 3. Result oriented is important, but I think it's MORE important if you don't sacrifice the process for results. So it's a balance between process-oriented and result oriented. 4. Feeling grateful for being alive and alright. 5. STOP overthinking about the activities and enjoy the moments. Although the term "freelancing" is still bad in my community – being associated with laziness, irresponsibility, and not dedicated enough. But there are people who get better in their life through freelancing, and I don't take it for granted either. I saw freelancing as the only way out of my own personal and professional problems. Used to have anger issues, but now I'm not going back there. Mindfulness is real, not a fluff. What's yours?
